Yoga creates space and in that space we change. We change our body and we change our mind. Some people find a sense of self, lost after many years of taking care of others. Some people discover pain free movement in their body where there was none before and some blossom in the safety and comfort of the loving community we create when like minds come together. I have had the privilege to watch these transformations occur in students at Yoga Nook for over 16 years.
Another word for change is adaptation and it’s the key to survival, both for species and for business. I have always appreciated your support as Yoga Nook has developed and grown. Moving from the original studio on Stearns to Cochran, the introduction of AIM and the expansion into the new facility at Fifth. I call for your support now as we bring all our classes and teachers together under one roof once more.
Yoga Nook @ Fifth will close on Saturday, October 26th after the last scheduled Yoga 1/2 class. We will be offering more classes at Cochran as a result and a new schedule will go in effect on Monday, October 28th as we absorb popular class times at Fifth into our current schedule at Cochran.
We are adapting to the needs and wants of our community to preserve the quality of your yoga experience. I see this as an opportunity to reinvest our focus and energy into one studio while we continue to provide more options for you to enjoy creative classes and highly skilled teachers.
To embrace the change and celebrate 16 years in business we invite you to a “Rededication Ceremony” for Yoga Nook Cochran on Sunday, November 10th at 11am. To be followed by a potluck brunch for members and teachers to enjoy. We hope to see you there as we all come together as one Yoga Nook family.
